palak paneer

 INGREDIENTS

palak (spinach)-2 bunch
paneer( cottage cheese)-250 grms
onion-1 chopped
tomatoes-2 chopped
garlic-1 tsp chopped
ginger-1/2 tsp
red chilly powder-1 tsp
coriander powder-1/2 tsp
cumin powder-1/2 tsp
cumins seeds-1 tsp
oil-half cup
fresh creame-2 tsp
cashew nut paste 1 tsp ( optional)
green chilly-2 pieces
salt as per taste

    METHOD

  • steam spinach or boil in a pressure cooker 
  • take out put in chill water for few mins and then blend it an a mixer jar with one green chilly
  • now heat oil add cumin seeds and chopped ginger garlic, fry little and add onions
  • fry till golden and add tomatoes,salt, and dry spices garam masala
  • cook well and add spinch paste fry litte add green chilly then add paneer
  • if u are using cashewnut paste or fresh creame u can add now otherwise just cook  
  • when oil gets separate take out in a bowl , garnish with fresh creame and serve hot 
(after adding palak it will splutter so be careful, adding cashewnut paste to it will enhance the taste of your palak paneer)
